Nathan (low whistle) a frequent guest performer with Cormorant's Fancy, and his mother Beth (guitar)perform Nate's adaptation of James Scott Skinner's lovely tune memorializing Hector MacDonald, one of Scotland's most famous Victorian Era war heroes who died tragically in 1903. Dancing master, fiddler, and composer Skinner was born in the parish of Banchory-Ternan, Aberdeenshire, on the 5 August 1843, and died in Aberdeen on 17 March 1927.
